PHBA Tournament, Pleasant Hill – July 19-20, 2008

Sting 12u made it to another semi-final game and finished tied for third place, posting a 3-2 record in the PHBA tournament in Pleasant Hill. The team showed tremendous spirit all weekend as the girls put together some impressive rallies for their victories and fought just as hard in defeat.

Start of Summer Tournament, Fremont – June 21-22, 2008

Sting’s 12u team continues to improve, finishing third this weekend in Fremont. Sting finished pool play 2-1 on Saturday, and won it’s first game Sunday before being eliminated.

Devil Mountain Tournament – June 14-15, 2008

Danville Friendly – June 8, 2008

The Sting summer season got underway with a series of three friendly games in Danville.  In spite of some tough competition against Class A teams, Sting fought hard and played good softball.  Pitchers Rachel Pozos, Lexi Carney, Brooke Tannahill, Brea Bryant, and Lena Mayer threw strikes and Sting fielders made several nice defense plays.
