| Spring 2009 registration is now open! - Registration forms were mailed to all girls who played in 2008, and everyone else who requested a packet. You can also access the registration forms here. There is one packet for girls who will play in our Micro, Younger or Middle Divisions (grades 1 through 5, and 6th graders with no playing experience), and a separate packet for girls who will play in our Older Division (experienced 6th graders, and 7th through 9th graders).
If you have any questions about registering, or to request a registration form please send email to registrar@abgsl.org and include your daughter's name and grade in school, your address and phone number, and indicate if your daughter has any prior softball experience. | |

| Recreational Season | |

Our Spring Recreational Season. Spring season starts in March, serving girls in the Albany/Berkeley area in grades 1-9. For information about the league, go here to learn what happens at each grade level, and here for general information about the recreational season. | Competitive Season | |
| Sting!! Sting is ABGSL's summer/fall competitive softball program. All girls who play in our Spring recreational season are eligible to try out for the program (in May). Complete details on the program, including tryout and application information, can be found on our Sting page. | |
| Older News | |
| Solano Stroll - ABGSL participated in the Solono Avenue Stroll on Sunday, September 14, 2008. The Solano Stroll is lots of fun, and is a great outreach tool for the league, informing other girls in our commuity about the league. This year's parade theme was "Stroll for Health" and a big thanks to anyone that joined us to help promote our league and the healthy pursuit of running bases, fielding grounders, and chasing down fly balls. |
The 2008 Bat-A-Que --Our 5th annual big party/fund raiser celebrating our 25th anniversary year. The whole family had plenty of fun at Fielding Field on May 3rd. Parade Photos! We've gotten some photos of our girls in the 2008 Parade. You can find them on our Parade Page along with photos from prior years.
