Concord Glory 5, Sting 12-Gold 1
Anna Moore led off the third inning with a double and Maria Price Hanson
knocked her in with a single, the first of the her two hits for the day. Kate
Moore, Annie Smith, and Alex Hickey also knocked hits for Sting but Sting
proved unable to capitalize on these opportunities. Kate Moore and Maria
Price Hanson shared pitching duties and fanned five batters between them.

Belmont Blaze 10, Sting 12-Gold 2
In the third inning, Alex Hickey and Anna Moore knocked consecutive singles
up the middle, Maria Price Hanson advanced them with a hard shot to the right
side and Kate Moore brought them home with an RBI double into deep
left-center field. Pitcher Kate Moore struck out four, and made several good
plays on defense, both on bunts and on hard hits balls back at her. Anansa
Ridley at shortstop, Clara Obstfeld at catcher, and third baser Lila
Rosenfeld also distinguished themselves on defense.
