Sting Gold Takes Second at Fremont Tournament

Sting 12U Gold took second place at the USSSA 12b/13b Fall State Qualifier at the Fremont Sports Complex September 29-30, 2007. In pool play on Saturday, Sting Gold finally beat their nemesis, Pleasanton Phantom, 9-1. In the championship game, they played a close game against the Newark Breeze, losing 5-2.

In the USSSA 12b/13b Fall State Qualifier Tournament at Hayward’s Alden Oliver Sport’s Park on September 15 and 16, Sting 12U Gold won three games and lost one. Sting won all three games in pool play on Saturday, but fell short in an International Tie Breaker game against their recurring nemesis, the Pleasanton Phantom.
